After 54 hours of intense work, teams pitch to a panel of judges from the most innovative and impactful companies in the Berkshires and from Techstars. Business leaders and mentors are on hand to share insights and experience through the entire weekend.
The twin brothers will speak and present songs, stories and movement, and will answer questions about the indigenous ways and traditions of their Amazon culture.
The convening will assemble 80 staff and special guests from over 40 preserved artists’ homes and studios nationwide as well as eight colleagues from preserved sites in the United Kingdom.

A graduate of the New England Culinary Institute in Vermont, Antunes worked locally for several years at Rouge Restaurant and Bistro in West Stockbridge and Wheatleigh in Lenox.
The new museum site would house the illustration library and archive, a study gallery with open storage, room for symposia and salon-style convening, and a reading room with enhanced technology for digital engagement and distance learning.
Pittsfield is experiencing a hotel boomlet. The Hotel on North opened early in June. In July, hotelier Vijay Mahida will open a 95-room Hilton Garden Hotel. The hospitality business requires a steady stream of guests, and Hotel on North plans to use a number of different tools to increase occupancy. Main Street CEO Sarah Eustis said. “We’re going to manage our rates very carefully. It’s a fine art.” Main Street will also wage an aggressive PR campaign “that goes way beyond the Berkshires.”
