Mr. Gacek worked both sides of retail and wholesale lumber and millwork sales. He was involved in both the planning and implementation of merchandising programs with many hours of hands-on display work.

Norton Fletcher, 95, of Sandisfield
Norton worked as a chef at the New Boston Inn from 1946 to 1949; as a private chef for Mrs. Ethel Perkins from 1951 to 1962 in Sandisfield and Lawrence; and for 15 years as a chef at the A. Holly Patterson Home for the Aged in Uniondale, New York, retiring in 1977.
Cora Louise Roraback, 94, of Sandisfield
Mrs. Roraback was a member of the New Boston Congregational Church, Sandisfield Historical Society, the Lions Club and the Council on Aging.
