Jeananne was a homemaker until her kids were in school when she took a job as a secretary and assistant to Norman Simpson in Stockbridge. His firm developed the book “Country Inn’s and Back Roads”
She was actively involved in the Pittsfield/Lenox community, volunteering at Conte Elementary School and participating in activities at the Pittsfield Senior center and Lenox community center.
He was an artist to his last days, painting and drawing to the end. John left us with a treasure of journals, sculpture, drawings, paintings and countless other arts, crafts and projects.
He was a graduate of the United Bicycle Institute, Inc. in Oregon and was employed as a bicycle mechanic at Berkshire Bike and Board in Great Barrington at the time of his death.
