Robert Fuster Sr., 75, of Lenox

In 1992, he founded the Berkshire Humane Society in response to the decision of the MSPCA to close its Berkshire County shelter operation.

Marlayne Weinberg, 85, of Lenox

She was actively involved in the Pittsfield/Lenox community, volunteering at Conte Elementary School and participating in activities at the Pittsfield Senior center and Lenox community center.

Alan Lash, 54, of Pittsfield

Alan worked for Gillette Carnival as a ride operator for many years.

John D.W. Kingston, 85, of Stockbridge, teacher of design at Simon’s Rock  

He was an artist to his last days, painting and drawing to the end.  John left us with a treasure of journals, sculpture, drawings, paintings and countless other arts, crafts and projects.

Jeremy A. Saunders, 36, of Lenox Dale

He was born in Pittsfield on August 16, 1981 to Charlene and the late Thomas S. Saunders. Jeremy was a 2000 graduate of Lenox High School.

Jeffrey Michael Crane, 45, of Lee

He was a graduate of the United Bicycle Institute, Inc. in Oregon and was employed as a bicycle mechanic at Berkshire Bike and Board in Great Barrington at the time of his death.
