John ‘Sean’ Condon will explore how Shays’ Rebellion influenced the division of power between state and federal governments set out by the U.S. Constitution and how it shaped the form of public protests today.
The popular fitness craze of goat yoga involves traditional yoga classes in the presence of wandering goats, whose peaceful and playful presences have been seen to relax and raise the spirits of participants.
Presented by Jen Salinetti of Woven Roots Farm, ‘Ag in the Evening’ is designed to immerse participants in connection with nature, practical skills for growing food, and critical thinking about the current food system.
The program is still in formation but will include reflections from featured speakers including Rabbi Levi Volovik of Chabad of the Berkshires; Rep. Tricia Farley-Bouvier, D-Pittsfield; and Rev. Brent Damrow of the First Congregational Church of Stockbridge.
