Notes from Southern Berkshire Ambulance: December 2025

2025 marks my 50th year as a volunteer with Southern Berkshire Ambulance. My good friend, Ken Schumacher, is celebrating his 49th. Together, we've seen a lot of change. But one thing hasn't: We are there when you need us—24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The window painting is a longstanding downtown tradition that gives students a chance to casually interact through a positive activity with storeowners who help the students throughout the day.

The Berkshire Pottery Tour will include the studios of of Ben Evans In Richmond, Paula Shalan in Stockbridge, Lorimer Burns in Housatonic, Daniel Bellow in Great Barrington, Ellen Grenadier in Monterey, and Linda Skipper in New Marlborough.

During the Flying Cloud Institute June session , Creators Studio students will be able to work deeply in such disciplines as robotics, engineering, coding, film, architecture, music composition, and ceramics, and each student will work with a mentor.
