BHS contracted ERDMAN, a national leader in healthcare strategy, design, and implementation, to study and make recommendations regarding how to improve Fairview Hospital’s campus to meet the current standards of healthcare facilities.
“ABC” stands for “A Better Community,” echoing the sale’s commitment to recycling clothing and household linens and its mission to benefit local charitable organizations that serve at-risk families and youth and address hunger, poverty and inequality in northern Berkshire communities.
Hannah Fries, former poetry editor of Orion magazine in Great Barrington, is the first Berkshire author to be published by Hedgerow Books, an imprint of Levellers Press in Amherst. She will be reading at The Bookstore in Lenox at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9.
