In addition to performing as a soloist, Chertock serves as principal keyboardist of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and has been a professor of piano at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
David loved cooking, baking, reading science fiction, snowboarding, playing hockey, and hiking. One of his favorite activities was to climb the hills of Berkshire County to see the sunrise and reflect on life.
Nancy had a real zest for life and lived it to the fullest! She bungee jumped, sky dived, traveled cross country-solo, photographed all beautiful things.

After Great Barrington voters shot down a Monument Mountain Regional High School renovation project two years in a row , a Regional Agreement Amendment Committee formed to get the three towns to the negotiating table to try to change the per-pupil funding arrangement.
