As we take a look at how it is that litigation against Donald Trump has ended in a whimper, let’s try and find the smallest bit of solace amongst the ruins of diminished expectations.

Vincent Ullrich, 69, of Brunswick, Maine, formerly of Sheffield

Vincent began his second career with GE, later Lockheed Martin, working with the Aegis Test Team at Bath Iron Works.

John W. Field, 66, of Monterey

He worked as a mechanic for over 30 years in the New Marlborough and Monterey areas.

Annette Ferron, 64, of Hinsdale

Annette enjoyed gardening, cake decorating, and loved spending time with her children and her family.

Sabina Ullrich, 88, of North Canaan, Conn., formerly of Sheffield

She was a charter member of the Sheffield Garden Club, the Thursday Morning Club, a past member of the Sheffield Historical Society, an honorary member of the Sheffield Kiwanis and a Cub Scouts den mother in Sheffield.

Lucy Eichstedt, 77, of Egremont

Lucy worked as a school bus driver for Massini Bus Company from 1970 to 1991 then as an aide for Massini Bus Company from 1991 till her retirement in 2004.

Kenneth Robert Heath Jr., 56, of Pittsfield

Kenneth was a member of the Tolland and Monterey fire departments, was in 4-H and Boy Scouts, and enjoyed fishing.

David West, 74, of Sheffield

David West graduated from the Massachusetts Police Academy and proudly served on the Sheffield Police Department in the 1970s and early '80s. He was also a 28-year member of the Sheffield Fire Department and an EMT.

James ‘Jimmy’ Phillips, 66, of Sheffield

Jimmy was a long-time member of the Olde Yankee Street Rods. He was a popular DJ at parties, weddings or just gatherings of friends and family.

Stephen M. Leining, 64, of Sheffield

He worked in forestry, then started and successfully ran an agricultural recycling operation at the north end of Sheffield.

Robert MacKenzie, 65, of New Marlborough

Bob always had a tremendous work ethic. He began mowing lawns at age 12, and as an adult, Bob began building homes. Bob continued on to build over 30 homes in the Berkshires.

Thomas Guidi, 75, of Great Barrington and Rotunda West, Florida

Always one to give back to the community, he gave of his time as a bell ringer for the Salvation Army and a love of Broadway was fulfilled as a volunteer usher in many theatres throughout the Berkshires.

George Martin Coons, 40, of Sheffield

An avid outdoorsman George enjoyed hunting and fishing. He liked going to Lebanon Valley to watch the races.
