At last, a major institution in America is standing up to the bullying and extortion that seems to characterize every action of the Trump administration.
Rep. William “Smitty” Pignatelli, D-Lenox, will serve as the game-day announcer of the Community At Bat charity softball game; and Sen. Adam Hinds, D-Pittsfield, and Great Barrington town manager Jennifer Tabakin will be the team captains.
Developers Michael Charles and Brian Cohan are still due for their site plan review at the planning board and will continue to work with the historical commission. They will also collaborate with the town on a number of conditions attached to the permit. The Powerhouse Square project is expected to break ground by summer.
