Hinds said he wanted a “positive political process” going into November “to demonstrate that we can work together to overcome big issues...we can’t afford to be dividing residents in this district at a time when we face big challenges.”

In her letter, Jennifer Breen writes: “Senate candidate Andrea Harrington does not attend gratuitous political events, and maybe that is why she was deemed ‘invisible’ by her opponent. Working mothers do not have time for nonsense.”
In his letter to the editor Jim Edelman of Monterey writes: “To witness Andrea Harrington going negative this late in the race is a disservice to everyone, including herself.”
During construction, the Bridge Street bridge in Great Barrington will be limited to one lane of alternating traffic. Accommodations for pedestrians will be in place. Completion of the project is anticipated to be in the spring of 2017.
The Lake Mansfield Comprehensive Improvements Plan concentrates on three focus areas that have significant impact on how the entire space is utilized: Lake Mansfield Road, the recreation/parking area near the beach, and the boat launch on the southern end of the lake.
