CONCERT REVIEW: An airy spirit comes to Earth, with flutes, at Tanglewood

While audiences come to concerts expecting to hear a selected menu of scores played as written by (frequently) absent composers, here we were confronted with a totally integrated experience of instrumental and vocal sound, many spontaneously created, as well as lights, body movement, and theater.

THEATRE REVIEW: ‘Mamma Mia!’ — a delicious fondue at the Mac-Haydn

Cheesy is the show, but I like cheese and, this time around, the fondue is delicious.

Bits & Bytes: ‘Spamalot’; Storytellers and Songwriters series; Stockbridge Sinfonia concerts; Knosh & Knowledge

The program for the Sinfonia concerts will include Mozart’s Overture to 'The Magic Flute,' Khachaturian’s 'Masquerade' Suite, Schubert’s Symphony No. 3 and Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto.
