The event was a big success—collecting almost 50 Christmas trees and other holiday greens and multiple boxes of food donations and $1,700 for the Lee Food Pantry, which serves residents from several communities in the area.

Bard College President Leon Botstein has announced the appointment of Dr. Ian Bickford, Simon's Rock ‘95, as provost of Bard College at Simon’s Rock. Bickford will begin his term in January, succeeding Dr. Peter Laipson.
The paving of Taconic Avenue from Castle Hill Avenue to the Railroad bridge at St. James Place will be done next spring. The Town will install speed monitoring signs and stop signs to reduce speeding.
