Jacob’s Pillow and Jason A. Rodriguez from the FX television series “Pose” will team up to showcase New York City’s Ball scene at the first-ever Pillow Party: Mini Ball Saturday, Oct. 26, at Jacob’s Pillow.
Directed by Travis Daly with music direction by Erin M. White and choreography by Kathy Jo Grover, the production features more than 100 Berkshire-area students.
The Radius Playwrights Festival features fully staged readings of the six selected new short plays created by local writers within a 50-mile radius of Great Barrington.
Three hours later the groups reassembled at the town’s gazebo, having collected more than 200 large bags of trash and recyclables which filled a truck to overflowing and most of a nearby dumpster.
Volunteers from across the state will celebrate New York’s park system by cleaning up park lands and beaches, planting trees and gardens, restoring trails and wildlife habitats, removing invasive species, and working on construction and site improvement projects.
