Richard Ford, 85, of South Lee

Dick served on the Lee Fire Department from 1956 until 2003 and as deputy chief from 1988 to 2003.

Kenneth TenBroeck, 86, of Niverville, N.Y., formerly of Great Barrington, owner of Ken’s Barber Shop

In 1960, he opened his own barber shop, Ken’s Barber Shop, which he owned for 63 years, starting on Railroad Street in Great Barrington and then moving to his location on South Main Street in 1977.

Thomas Wickham of Lee, former TWA ‘pilot of the year’

He was made a captain with TWA in 1959, flew the media “chase” plane for Gerald Ford’s presidential run in 1976 and, in 1984, was named the company’s “Pilot of the Year” for skillfully averting the crash of his fully-loaded 747 while experiencing a mechanical failure flying from New York’s JFK to Rome.

Joseph Puleri Sr., 84, of Lee

He then worked for Eaton Paper for 33 years and traveled across the country as the president of the International Paper Makers Union.

Alfred worked for 35 years as an assessment assigning engineer for the New England Telephone Company.

John Boddie, 87, of Great Barrington, founding member of Southern Berkshire Volunteer Ambulance Squad

John Boddie also worked for many years as a special patrolman for Great Barrington and Stockbridge, a Berkshire County deputy sheriff, and at Birches-Roy Funeral Home.

Frank Gorham Jr., 88, of Great Barrington

Frank worked for 37 years as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service, retiring in 1989.

Richard Armstrong, 88, of Sheffield

Richard Armstrong was the former vice president and general manager of Sheffield Plastics for many years.

Louis Pasquarelli, 91, of Pittsfield

He loved working outdoors and taking care of his home and working in his workshop. He was a man of all trades.

Richard Billetter, 84, of Lenox

An accomplished athlete, Richard achieved the remarkable by competing in all (40) Josh Billings triathlons to date; ran the Boston Marathon for several years, played golf regularly, cross-country skied, and loved canoeing the Housatonic River.
