In her letter to the editor Joyce Hackett writes: “Broadband is the single most powerful tool we have for making America great again. It's what rural America needs to pay our bills.”
Neal added, however, that even though great gains have been made in the field of renewable energy, "plentiful natural gas" should remain an option, in part because it "does less harm" to the environment.
To be honest, [the movement] is on summer vacation… Meetings have been less attended. We're gearing up for more intensity in the fall."
