I believe a lot of young people are ignorant as to what we could lose in this land of ours should the Trump conservatives roll back all the protections and programs which so many of us take for granted.
I was recently invited to be the guest speaker for two journalism classes at Monument Mountain Regional High School in Great Barrington. The students, about 35 all together, had prepared questions for me based on their reading the day before of my recent four-part series, "Addiction in the Berkshires: Sara’s story."

We would prefer that those choosing to comment on The Edge would be willing to -- as they say -- "own" their viewpoints and observations by identifying themselves, much as they would at a New England town meeting.
