In the last century, 94 percent of seed varieties have disappeared. The documentary film “SEED: The Untold Story” follows passionate seed keepers protecting a 12,000 year-old food legacy.
The 12-year-old, Bali-born jazz pianist Joey Alexander will bring his trio to Club Helsinki Hudson on Sunday, August 16. His Helsinki show comes just weeks after his appearance at the Newport Jazz Festival and a residency at New York City’s Jazz Standard nightclub.
