The theater group announced it is expanding its offerings this year to include two productions, two “fresh takes” readings, and multiple community engagement programs.

TheatreFest@SaintJamesPlace will feature staged readings of eight original plays from presenting companies including Berkshire Playwrights Lab’s Berkshire Voices writers’ group, GhostLit Repertory Theatre and New Stage Performing Arts.
The precise territory to be wired is not set in stone, but it will likely be confined to both sides of Main Street from Castle and Bridge streets to the Berkshire Bank and Lee Bank buildings. The wiring of Railroad Street will likely be coordinated with the new pavement and sidewalks it will be receiving in the spring.
These projects will change the face of the Bridge Street corridor, coming as they do on the heels of the redevelopment of the former Bryant Elementary School by Iredale Mineral Cosmetics Inc.
Local officials, developers, community organizers and business owners came to 47 Railroad in Great Barrington to meet, greet, and talk about the project as well as other projects slated for downtown.
