The Great Barrington Fire Department was dispatched to 232 Stockbridge Rd. after the Fairview Hospital reported they had admitted three patients with carbon monoxide poisoning.

Great Barrington has recorded $37 million in new construction in the past year, resulting in permit fees totaling more than $88,000 and new tax revenues of $538,690.
The fire affected the “electrical, insulation, and the storage around [the oven],” but the the structure was untouched, said Fire Chief Charles Burger.
“We have a 150-year history of finding ways to improve service to the community, even if it means branching out from our standard scope of work.”
