Authorities believe Luke Karpinski, 41, murdered his wife, Justine Wilbur, also 41, and their three children before setting their house on Home Road on fire and taking his own life.
A primary search revealed the presence of one individual who was dead. A secondary search revealed four additional individuals who were dead. Neither the names of the victims nor the causes of death were available for release on Wednesday, District Attorney Harrington said.
Harrington has challenged the constitutionality of cash bail by joining with more than 80 present and former prosecutors in a suit brought before the U.S. Court of Appeals.
