It’s just so scary, because of our age group, and because there is no plan, no testing, and the hospital might not take you.

The office will be closed to all non-BDAO staff members. Any necessary meetings or interviews will be held via teleconference or at outside locations. 

In his letter to the editor Steve Farina writes: "This is our opportunity to show each other our true sense of community."

Earlier this week, the town announced the formation of a COVID-19 response group that is meeting regularly to evaluate public health information and determine any initial steps needed to protect residents from the COVID-19 virus to the best extent possible.

The Berkshires are lucky to have some of the best nursing facilities in the state. I know this firsthand.
