Tthe tone in every poem, and in the closely fitting entire volume, comes like songs on the breezes of the various seasons, where we are blessed by a genuine and believable optimism once again.
Evelyn was a staunch supporter of the Greenwoods Community Church in Ashley Falls and its missionary work. She was a missionary chairwoman for many years and gave generously of not only her time but also of whatever else was needed.
Ruth is well known for her talent with doll repairs along with building and decorating doll houses. In 1970 she and her husband, Don, began The Corn Crib and later Dolls & Dwellings in Sheffield.
