In his letter to the editor, John Hockridge writes: “Berkshire County Education Task Force remains neutral and takes no stand on school building projects, school consolidation efforts, and regionalization efforts at the school district level.”
At the last discussion, in which some parties were demonstrably rancorous, it became clear that changing an agreement that has each town paying for schools based on the number of students it sends was not going to be easy.
