Davis declares victory in 3rd Berkshire District State House race

While at home, Louise did seamstress work for clients and family, and was also a talented cake decorator, making and decorating cakes for various holidays and special occasions including weddings.

Patricia Senter, 89, of Lee

Pat graduated from the former Berkshire Business College in 1948 and went to work for Durant-Forman Insurance in Lee for several years.

Arlene Finkle, 91, of Great Barrington

She worked as a secretary for Wheeler and Taylor in the 1940s and in the kitchen at the Red Barn and Butternut in the 1960s.

Sally Holmes Atwood, 97, of Housatonic

Elected to the Great Barrington Library Trustees in 1960, she served for 24 years, the last three as chairman.

M. Doris McCauley, 92, of Lee

Mrs. McCauley worked as a waitress at local restaurants and was last employed by Lee High School where she worked in the cafeteria.

Walter F. ‘Sonny’ Atwood Jr., 97, of Housatonic, Mass.

He was elected to the Great Barrington Planning Board, Finance Committee and School Committee in the 50’s and 60’s. He was elected Commander of the Adams-Budz Post in 1951 and Berkshire County 9th District VFW Commander in 1955.

Mary M. Lucey, 100, of Great Barrington, retired secretary at Great Barrington Savings Bank

Mary was overjoyed to attend her 100th birthday party with her loving family and friends. She loved reading and doing crossword puzzles.

Martha Isabel Wichman, 95, of Mill River

Family was most important to Martha. When her children were younger, she was a Girl Scout leader and taught Sunday school at St. James Church.
