Marina Dominguez, the Head of the Katunemo Arts Collective, received the Under 40 Change-Maker award for working to support immigrants in building their businesses as entrepreneurs, artists, and performers.
The full day of activities will also feature scenic airplane, biplane and helicopter rides as well as hot-air balloon rides. Participants can enjoy demonstrations of paragliding, skydiving and radio-controlled planes and helicopters — or you can try out the flight simulator.
The plans for the Walter J. Koladza Airport in Great Barrington now being considered at Town Hall are for three 149-foot by 50-foot hangars with 18 bays inside, 18 parking spaces and an access road. But according to one of the owners, the airport also wants to add a charter service and an LSA (light sport aircraft) dealership and air shows.
