The upper Railroad Street lot appears to have about 30 spots, the loss of which, even for a few days, will have some denizens of downtown scrambling to find places to park their vehicles.
This week, mobilization and set-up began for Church, School and Elm streets on Monday. Actual construction will begin on Monday, March 18, with an expected completion date of Sunday, June 30.

Developers Michael Charles and Brian Cohan are still due for their site plan review at the planning board and will continue to work with the historical commission. They will also collaborate with the town on a number of conditions attached to the permit. The Powerhouse Square project is expected to break ground by summer.
Drumm said the only chemical smells in the air near the wastewater treatment plant came from the 8-acre brownfield next to it during an attempt at bioremediation over the last two years.
