Harry worked for Simscroft-Echo Farms in Simsbury, Connecticut, for several years, then worked closer to home at Pete’s Sales and Service in Sheffield until his retirement in 1998.
In 1986 Mr. Farnum retired from Becton-Dickinson Medical Supplies in Canaan, Connecticut, where he had worked as an architectural draftsman for 18 years.
In 1951, she married her late husband, Jorge Ramirez, in Ambato and, together with their children, they moved to America in the early 1970s. She retired from Becton & Dickinson after many years of service.
When not working, Richard enjoyed attending events at Tanglewood and loved visiting New York City to enjoy fine dining, attend the theatre or visit a museum to see an art exhibit.
For many years Hazel was a sales clerk at the former W.T. Grant store in Great Barrington. She then worked at B-D Medical Products in Canaan as a production worker.
Sophia B. Hickey was employed by Becton-Dickinson Co. and retired in 1982. After her retirement she continued to do housework for families in the Great Barrington area.
