A Funeral Mass for Peter A. Hagen will be held on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 10 a.m., at Saint Peter’s Church in Great Barrington, with Reverend William P. Murphy, pastor, officiating.
Recipients will be called the Chang-Chavkin Scholars after Arnie Chavkin and Laura Chang, founders and funders of the program and part-time residents of New Marlborough.Students selected will receive a total of $60,000, $15,000 per year for all four years of college.
Led by new director of learning and teaching Kristi Farina, the grant to Berkshire Hills Regional School District will support building inclusive practices and student achievement and growth.
