Sweethearts stash brings back memories

In a letter to the editor, Nick Diller writes, "When I was a kid growing up in New Hampshire, the New England Candy Company products were all over the place."

To the editor:

Another article well written. You are right; candy does bring back memories. When I was a kid growing up in New Hampshire, the New England Candy Company products were all over the place. They were in the two candy stores I would go in when I walked home after school. We used to trade little hearts because we liked what was written on someone else’s better than ours. Clark Bars were some of our favorites and Necco wafers were my favorites. I don’t know who made Sugar Daddies but they were good for a long taste. So, yes, candies do bring back memories of my time living in New Hampshire from 1948 to 1962. Thanks again. I will have to go down to Robin’s store and get the tour of the 1950s.
