Susan M. Cutter, 82, of Housatonic, a nurse at Berkshire Medical Center

Susan loved living on her farm in Stephentown, N.Y., where she raised Angora goats.

Susan M. Cutter, 82, of Wyantenuck St., in Housatonic died November 12, 2015 at Fairview Commons in Great Barrington.

Born August 12, 1933 in North Adams, Mass., she was the daughter of Gerald and Evelyn Niles Middlebrook. She graduated from local schools and received her nursing degree from the Holyoke School of Nursing.

Mrs. Cutter was employed as a Registered Nurse at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Mass.

Susan loved living on her farm in Stephentown, N.Y., where she raised Angora goats.

She is survived by four sons, Bruce, Geoffrey, Bryan and Richard Cutter and one daughter Marcia Anderson. She also leaves her sister, Mary Louise Coons, and nineteen grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Harry Cutter in 1994. The couple was married on February 4, 1953. She was also predeceased by her brother Skip Middlebrook.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 17 at 11 a.m. at FINNERTY & STEVENS FUNERAL HOME in Great Barrington, conducted by Rev. Richard Hayes, Chaplain with HospiceCare in the Berkshires. The burial will follow at Stephentown Cemetery in Stephentown, N.Y.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 16 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the funeral home in Great Barrington.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, Jan. 30, from 4 to 6 p.m., at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home. A Liturgy of Christian Mass will be delivered on Friday, Jan. 31, at 10 a.m., at St. Peter's Church in Great Barrington, the Rev. William Murphy officiating.

Thomas P. Atwood, 86, of Great Barrington

A Funeral Mass for Thomas P. Atwood will be held on Monday, January 27, at 10 a.m., with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at Saint Peter’s Church in Great Barrington, with Reverend William P. Murphy Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Saint Peter’s Cemetery.

Maureen Jane Johnson Hickey, 86, of Great Barrington and Naples, Fla.

There will be a private burial at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Great Barrington, with a memorial service in the spring.
