Support findings of Lake Mansfield Task Force

In his letter to the editor, Bobby Houston writes: "The notion that a last-minute straw poll or petition can somehow act as a unofficial plebiscite is worrying to me."

To the Editor:

I am writing to applaud the excellence of the process on Lake Mansfield improvements. The Lake Mansfield Improvement Task Force has been a model of clarity and community input. They have conducted careful and intelligent consideration of competing issues and interests.

We owe it to all who participated over the long haul to endorse their findings. The notion that a last-minute straw-poll or petition can somehow act as a unofficial plebiscite is worrying to me.

Please support the findings of the excellent Lake Mansfield Improvement Task Force.
