Stuart David Katsh, 64, of Los Angeles

Funeral arrangements were held privately in Los Angeles.

Stuart David Katsh, 64, died peacefully at home in Los Angeles, on December 27, 2023, after a brief struggle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on July 23, 1959, to Melvin Katsh and Hilda (Katz) Katsh.

Stuart graduated from Monument Mountain Regional High School in 1977 and attended Northeastern University in Boston, graduating with a bachelor’s degree. After moving to Southern California, he studied at University of CA-Northridge to be a registered dietitian. Stuart worked for the UCSD Hospital, Jeffrey Goodman Clinic Los Angeles, as a dietitian specializing in AIDS nutrition.

After retirement, he lived for three years in Paris, immersing himself in the language and culture of France. Stuart had many interests, including fashion, modern art, and literature and was an avid cyclist.

Funeral arrangements were held privately in Los Angeles. He is survived by cousins Charles Katz, Steven Bannon, Sandy Hibour, Debbie Katz, Steven Mintz, and Susan Mintz. Donations can be made in his memory to the the Los Angeles AIDS Lifecycle 2024 or the charity of your choice.
