Stockbridge sets May 20 election ballot

Lisa Sauer is challenging Select Board Chair and incumbent Jamie M. Minacci.

Stockbridge — With the town election set for next month, according to Town Clerk Terri Lemolini, two candidates are slated to vie for a three-year term on the Select Board: incumbent Jamie M. Minacci and Lisa Sauer. Minacci currently serves the dais as its chairperson.

The last day to submit nomination papers was April 1.

Although Michael Roger Roisman submitted nomination papers, he withdrew his candidacy on April 3. Candidates have until April 17 to withdraw.

Also on the ballot is incumbent Board of Assessors candidate Douglas Matthew Goudey (three-year term), incumbent Board of Health candidate John A. Loiodice, Parks and Recreation Commissioner candidate Linda K. Barbaadoro (three-year term), Planning Board candidate Peter Martin Barenski Jr. (five-year term), and incumbent Sewer and Water Commissioner candidate Peter J. Socha (three-year term). All of these candidates are unopposed.

The last day to register to vote for both the May 19 Town Meeting and May 20 election is 5 p.m. on May 9.
