Stockbridge comes together for Hands Off! rally

According to Barbara Woike of Stockbridge, who submitted photos of the event to The Berkshire Edge, in a town of just over 2,000 residents, over 200 showed up to protest in front of town offices on Main Street.

Stockbridge — Residents in Stockbridge took part in the national Hands Off! rally on Saturday, April 5. The rally coincided with others that were held in Pittsfield and Great Barrington.

According to Barbara Woike of Stockbridge, who submitted photos of the event to The Berkshire Edge, in a town of just over 2,000 residents, over 200 showed up to protest in front of town offices on Main Street.

According to the event’s website, the protest was “a nationwide mobilization to stop the most brazen power grab in modern history. Trump, Musk, and their billionaire cronies are orchestrating an all-out assault on our government, our economy, and our basic rights—enabled by Congress every step of the way.”
