To the Editor:
We encourage Great Barrington voters to re-elect Steve Bannon to the Selectboard on May 14. Steve has served our town with great distinction as a member and chair of the School Committee and Selectboard. He brings to the board clear-sighted leadership, an in-depth understanding of the civic challenges we face and extensive knowledge of town government operations. He is approachable, a good listener, sensitive to all views on an issue and possesses a healthy sense of humor. As a lifelong resident and former proprietor of a Main Street business, Steve realizes the importance of preserving the historic resources in our town as not only fundamental to our community’s economy but its historic character as well.
