Update: 9:25 p.m.: Sheffield voted down the school merger by a vote of 503-99. New Marlborough voted down the school merger by a vote of 165-112.

Update 8:30 p.m.: Alford approves school merger by a vote of 106 yes, 23 no.

Update 7:30 p.m.: Great Barrington approves school districts merger agreement by a vote of 374 yes, 88 no.

Update 6:55 p.m. Seven towns are holding special town meetings tonight to vote on school districts merger agreement.

Stockbridge approved the agreement by a vote of 107 yes, 14 no.

West Stockbridge approved the agreement by a vote of 86 yes, 14 no.
