While the beloved Maine Antiques Festival (in Union, Maine) has been canceled for August, 2022, due to “scheduling challenges and ongoing impacts of the pandemic,” the following much-anticipated shows are still happening,
rain or shine.

New Hampshire Antiques Show

August 11-13

Now in its 65th year, the New Hampshire Antiques Show, features exhibits by some 60 professional antique dealers who save merchandise throughout the year in order to ensure that the show maintains its longstanding reputation for “fresh-to-the-market” antiques. It’s the culmination of Antiques Week across the state (see other shows at www.antiquesweeknh.com/).

September 6–11

“America’s oldest outdoor flea market” is a must for any collector—and you’ll be rubbing elbows with veterans (like Martha Stewart), among thousands of other shoppers. This massive, six-day event is held three times a year and is made up of about 20 different show fields filled with individual sellers of antique, vintage, and new items. (Brimfield is the name of the town, not the organizer.) Planning ahead is highly advised by downloading/printing a copy of the schedule and vendor map from the website.

The Stormville (N.Y.) Airport Antique Show & Flea Market

With acres of merchandise by over 600 vendors (from eight states), this fun, family-friendly event draws thousands of shoppers to each of its six shows throughout the year. There is literally something for everything here, from rare antiques and collectibles to bargain finds and new arts and crafts.
