Sheffield can be better

In a letter to the editor, Bob Kilmer writes, "My goal, if elected, is to keep the people of Sheffield informed and aware of the needs of the town, to give them a meaningful voice and encourage input."

To the editor:

Sheffield is a town with a big heart — strong, independent and thoughtful. We’ve always supported our schools, fire, police, and especially our volunteers. If I’m elected selectman, I won’t waste one dime of taxpayer money, but I also won’t ask our volunteers to use unsafe equipment.

Sheffield has never been a town that didn’t step up and meet its responsibilities. I have faith in our town to make the right decisions when given all the information. My goal, if elected, is to keep the people of Sheffield informed and aware of the needs of the town, to give them a meaningful voice and encourage input.

Sheffield can be better; if you vote for me Monday, May 11, I’ll do my best to foster harmony, integrity and good will in Sheffield.
