Sen. Hinds, Dr. Nahid Bhadelia to hold Q&A on COVID-19

The State Senator announced he will hold a Facebook Live Q&A session with infectious diseases expert Dr. Nahid Bhadelia on Thursday, Feb. 25 at Noon.

BOSTON – Today State Senator Adam G. Hinds (D–Pittsfield) announced he will hold a Facebook Live Q&A session focusing on COVID-19, with infectious diseases expert and CNN and MSNBC contributor Dr. Nahid Bhadelia, on Thursday, Feb. 25 at 12 p.m.

Dr. Bhadelia is an infectious disease physician and the medical director of Special Pathogens Unit at Boston Medical Center. She is also an associate professor at the Boston University School of Medicine, along with overseeing the medical response program for the University’s maximum containment biosafety level 4 program at National Emerging Infectious Disease Laboratories. She has gained national attention during the COVID-19 pandemic and has been featured on CNN and MSNBC for her expertise on this subject.

The goal of the event will be to continue to address questions and concerns constituents have raised with Sen. Hinds. Questions can be submitted in advance to Adam.Hinds@masenate.gov using the subject line: “FB Live Q&A.”
