Sean Cronin, 37, of Lee passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness with his father at his side. Sean, the son of John Cronin and Darlene Stone, was born in Landstuhl, Germany on September 19, 1985. He grew up in the Great Barrington area and graduated from Mount Everett Regional High School. In high school, he was active in sports. especially baseball, where he was considered a very talented pitcher.
For many years, Sean worked at the Gans Bedding Company, and, more recently, he owned and operated a pest control company that served the tri-state area.
Sean was certainly an avid and knowledgeable sports fan. He loved the Red Sox, the Patriots, and the Celtics. He once bowled a perfect 300 game during a bowling league he participated in. He also co-hosted a weekly sports radio program with Robbie Zucker on WTBR in Pittsfield.
Sean will be remembered as a kind soul who loved to laugh; eat good food; listen to music; sing with the amazing Fire Pit group; and, most of all, as a person who loved being with his friends and family.
Sean is survived by his father, whom he lived with and selflessly took care of during the past few years. He is also survived by his mother, Darlene Stone Moore of North Carolina; his sister, Kaitlyn Snider (and spouse Alex); his stepbrother Aaron Moore; and his aunts and uncles, Tom Cronin, Doreen Kahlstrom (and spouse Jack), Joe Cronin, Coreen Burnett (and spouse Larry), Maureen Avery (and spouse Bob), and Brenda Estep (and spouse Steve).
