Sara Michelle Bowers

Sara was artistic and had a knack for poetry and the arts. She loved to draw, write, and read astrological signs. With her creative flair and passion for beauty, Sara went on to study cosmetology. She always presented herself well and accessorized to the nines; finding time to shop was never a problem.

Sarcastic and spicy, Sara had a huge personality that never held back. Her bold comments at the dinner table were never filtered and always timed to perfection, or lack thereof. Sara loved time with her family, especially bonding with her son Damenacoe, who was truly her pride and joy. Being outdoors, snuggling up with a movie, and vacations to York Beach were among their favorites.

Sara is survived by her son Damenacoe Conway; parents David and Lisa Bowers of Lee; sisters Madeline Bowers, and Rebecca Collins and her husband Evan; brothers Steven and Jordan Bowers; nieces Bella Kearin, Milania, and Catalina Collins; grandmother Rosalind Haywood; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

She is pre-deceased by her maternal grandfather, Paul Haywood and fraternal grandparents, David and Mary Bowers.

The funeral for Sara will be held Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Lee. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sara’s memory may be made to Damenacoe’s Educational Fund in care of Roche Funeral Home, 120 Main Street, Lenox, MA 01240.
