Sandra Patson Tourville Laffee, 73, of Pittsfield passed away peacefully from her battle with leukemia early Saturday morning, July 27, 2019 at Berkshire Medical Center.

Born Nov. 27, 1945, in Springfield, she was the daughter of Peter Michael Patson and Irene Elizabeth Duffney. She attended Classical Junior High School and Commerce High School, both in Springfield. Sandra resided and worked in the food service industry most of her life. She could be found in both fine dining and casual establishments. Sandra touched many lives throughout Berkshire County with her culinary talents. She had a love for cooking that was the cornerstone of her lifelong passion for creating beautiful things. She was also known for crocheting lovely pieces that she shared with others.
She is survived by four daughters: Beth Sullivan of Becket, Patricia Bundy of Canton, Georgia, Barbara Tourville of Dahlonega, Georgia, and Ann Marie Langlias of Lee; three granddaughters: Heather, Robyn and Marley; three grandsons: Logan, Nicholas and Adam; and six great-grandchildren: Alayna, Isaac, Kimber, Jordan, Ryan and TJ. She also leaves her siblings Pamela I. Leffingwell of Cartersville, Georgia, Tina Marie Diaz of South Hadley, and Robert J. Duffney of Springfield, along with many beloved nieces and nephews. Sandra was predeceased by her husband, Lionel Roy Laffee, in 1994. She was also predeceased by her sisters Susan Louise MacNeil of North Georgia and Sheila May Braman of Cartersville, Georgia, and her brother, Paul Edward Patson of Canaan, New York.
The funeral service for Sandra will be held Thursday, Aug. 1, at noon at FINNERTY & STEVENS FUNERAL HOME in Great Barrington with burial to follow to Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
