Samantha J. Clark, 40, died Sunday May 8, 2016 at her father’s home surrounded by her loving family. Samantha was born in Great Barrington on November 20, 1975 daughter of Dennis Clark and the late Sharon (Lis) Clark.
Samantha was a 1994 graduate of Monument Mountain Regional High School. Samantha worked at Price Chopper in Great Barrington as a front-end supervisor. She enjoyed art and volunteering at the Berkshire Humane Society. She loved nature.
Samantha is survived by her father, Dennis Clark of Housatonic; two daughters, Haley Barrett and Keely Demary; two brothers, Brett Clark and wife Roberta of Housatonic and Kevin Clark of Housatonic; and grandmothers, Edith Lis of Sheffield and Easterbelle Clark of Great Barrington.
In addition to her mother, Sharon (Lis) Clark, Samantha was predeceased by grandfathers, Joseph Lis and Clifton Clark, and two uncles, Joseph Lis and Peter Lis.
Funeral services for Samantha J. Clark, who died May 8, will be held on Friday, May 13, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish Corpus Christi Church in Housatonic with the Rev. William P. Murphy, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Bridget’s Cemetery, Housatonic.
Family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, at the BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME, 33 South St., Great Barrington MA 01230. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in Samantha’s memory may be made to the Haley Barrett and Keely Demary Memorial Trust Fund at either Berkshire Bank or in care of the BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME.
