Robin A. McAteer, 71, of Lenox Dale

In keeping with Rob’s wishes, all services will be private.

Robin A. McAteer, 71, of Lenox Dale, died Thursday morning, November 30, 2023 at Berkshire Medical Center after a brief illness.

Rob was born in Dublin, Ireland on January 2, 1952 to the late Albert and Elizabeth Orr McAteer. He attended Dover-Sherborn High School as a 1970 graduate. Mr. McAteer owned and operated his own landscaping company for many years. He trained, raced, and drove standard bred horses. Rob married Charlene Robinson McAteer on April 30, 1976.

Mr. McAteer is survived by his wife Charlene of Lenox Dale; his son Ryan A. McAteer of Washington; hsi granddaughter Addison McAteer; his brothers, Philip McAteer of Pittsfield and Fred McAteer of Lenox; his sister Tara Lewandowski (Ronald) of Easthampton; and his nieces, Nicole and Sydney Lewandowski.

In keeping with Rob’s wishes, all services will be private. Memorial donations in his memory may be made to Berkshire Humane Society in care of the Roche Funeral Home, 120 Main Street, Lenox, MA 01240.
