Roberta J. Breznick Palmer, 65, of Crossway Street, Lee, Mass., died Saturday October 24, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Great Barrington on December 14, 1949, daughter of Francis and Christina Beckwith Touponce. She attended local schools and was a graduate of the former Searles High School. She had worked for Housatonic Curtains and the McDonald’s on the Mass Pike.
Besides her mother, Roberta leaves her husband, Wayne M. Palmer; two sons, William Breznick Jr. and his significant other Kal of Dalton, and Phillip Breznick and his significant other Heather of Pittsfield; one daughter, Tracy and her husband Wayne W. Palmer Sr. of Lee, one brother Francis “Mike” Touponce Jr. and his wife, Beverly, of Pittsfield; one sister, Betsy Sicurello and her husband Bob of Arizona; four grandchildren, Kristy, James, Wayne Jr., and Caitlyn; and two great grandchildren, Ethan and Ava and her loving Aunt Joan. Besides her father, Roberta was predeceased by her first husband William Breznick Sr., one daughter Deborah, and two sisters Sylvia, and Melinda.
A graveside service for Roberta J. Breznick Palmer, who died October 24, 2015, will be held on Tuesday, October 27, at 12 noon in St. Peter’s Cemetery with the Rev. William P. Murphy officiating.
