Robert J. Gingras, 52, passed away Feb. 25, 2018, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.

Born Jan. 4, 1966, in Sharon, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Marguerite and Jean “Guy” Gingras. He was the youngest of his three siblings. He was educated in local schools and graduated from Mount Everett Regional High School. For many years, he owned and operated his own business, Gingras Lawn & Property Services. In his spare time, he loved riding his motorcycle and had a passion for woodworking. He was also an active member of Sheffield Kiwanis.
Robert is survived by his sons Jean and Mathieu Gingras; his fiancée, Karen Streeter; his sister, Colette Plaquet, and husband Mark; and his brother Jean Gingras and wife Happy. He also leaves his stepchildren Patrick and Monica Hartin and Shelby Streeter. Robert also leaves his beloved grandchildren Riley, Shayne, Andon and Jenna. He will be dearly missed by his many other family members and his many friends. Robert was predeceased by his parents and his brother Peter Gingras.
Funeral services for Robert J. Gingras will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018, at 11 a.m. at the Greenwood Community Church, 355 Clayton Road, Ashley Falls, MA. A reception will follow the service in the church fellowship hall and all are invited. There are no calling hours.
