The 2024 presidential election will be like no other in American history. Here are a few important facts that lead to that obvious conclusion:
- According to Gallup, 49 percent of voters today are registered as Independents. This number was 31 percent in 2004. Democrats and Republicans now number 25 percent each.
- According to Quinipiac, in a three-way race, among Independents, Kennedy already leads at 36 percent, with Biden at 32 percent and Trump at 26 percent.
- In a new NBC poll, 70 percent of Americans believe Biden should not run for reelection, including 51 percent of Democrats feeling this way.
- Sixty percent of Americans, including a third of all Republicans, think Trump should not be president.
- According to the March 21 Harvard-Harris poll, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has a net favorability/unfavorability of +14 percent over Trump and +24 percent over Biden.
I mention these because what I hear most from people is that RFK Jr. is just a “spoiler candidate,” that Kennedy is going to pull votes away from Joe Biden and enable “he whose name shall not be mentioned” to become president, an outcome that seems to be the biggest concern among Democrats—at least according to the talking heads and legacy media that is pushing the Democratic National Committee’s mantra. In fact, Kennedy is pulling about as many (even slightly more) votes from Trump than he is from Biden. The “Never-Trumpers” have someone who aligns with them on free speech, medical freedom, securing the border, and healing our sick population.
The Democrat Party just announced they will be seeding a $300 million “war chest” (putting Liz Smith in charge of the effort) to prevent RFK Jr. from getting on the ballot in November. How interesting that a political party that claims this election to be about the “survival of our democracy” is, at the same time, suppressing the ability for Americans to have a choice to vote for other legitimate candidates. The Republican Party has begun to send out their talking heads and social media trolls to appear on news shows and falsely paint Kennedy as a “big-government leftist.”
This is also the first election where the podcast allows an Independent candidate like Kennedy to reach millions of voters without relying on the legacy media companies, which receive a large percentage of their advertising dollars from Big Pharma, Big Agriculture, Big Chemical, and financial conglomerates like BlackRock that own the Military Industrial Complex—something even President Eisenhower warned us against in his Farewell Address. These podcasts allow millions of Americans to listen to long-form interviews with candidates like Kennedy so that people who want to can choose to spend the time to really listen to a candidate’s policies and ideas for the future, rather than be at the mercy of a biased legacy media and a five-minute segment.
Some of the most important issues facing Berkshire County residents are at the top of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s main policies. These include holding corporations responsible for polluting our environment; enabling young people to afford a home; supporting regenerative farming and efforts to remove chemicals and toxic substances from our food chain; and ensuring all our medicines—including vaccines—are properly tested, safe, and effective.
Indeed, Kennedy’s recently selected vice presidential candidate Nicole Shanahan’s job will be to gather the best minds in science and technology to study the vast amounts of data already collected by the NIH, CDC, FDA, and EPA, and to determine why Americans are the sickest people on the planet. Kennedy has spent 40 years suing huge corporations for poisoning our rivers and farms with PCB’s and chemicals. Berkshire residents will have a very sympathetic ear in the White House. When he comes to campaign in our region later this spring or summer, we can let him know what our concerns are, and he will answer with specificity and carry them forward with the leadership that they deserve.
Team Kennedy has over 12,000 volunteers and supporters already registered in Massachusetts. And the effort to get the 10,000-plus signatures to get RFK Jr. on the ballot—so that Americans have their democratically protected choices—will be beginning shortly. Anyone interested in volunteering or just learning more about the policies and platform of the Kennedy-Shanahan Ticket can visit kennedy24.com. There are dozens of videos there, and in numerous podcasts throughout the internet, where Kennedy explains his motivations for seeking the office of president.
No family in history has sacrificed and given as much to serving the American people as the Kennedy family. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is the only candidate who can unite our extremely divided nation. He is running a positive campaign—not attacking his opponents. No name calling or fear mongering is necessary when you have the right ideas and messages. He is a man of, by, and for the people.
