Pittsfield — The Pittsfield Police Department is investigating a robbery that took place on Monday, Aug. 8 at the Greylock Federal Credit Union on 75 Kellogg St.
According to a press release issued by the department, police units responded to the bank at around 8:50 a.m.
An unarmed male suspect passed a note to a bank teller demanding money.
According to Rhonda Serre, Corporate Communications Director for Greylock Credit Union, no employees were injured in the incident.
The suspect is is described as a white male, possibly in his 40s, with black hair and a thin build.
He was wearing a baseball cap and a dark colored surgical mask.
The suspect appeared to have fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
