Richard E. Gendreau, 69, of Sandisfield

Services and burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Richard E. Gendreau, 69, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 13, 2024. Richard was born October 3, 1954, in Springfield, Mass., and was predeceased by his parents, Richard A. and Elizabeth (Haley) Gendreau. He was educated and lived most of his life in West Springfield. Richard served in the U.S. Air Force until being honorably discharged.

Richard is survived by his brother and caretaker Brian, his wife Lori, and their son Nicolas Gendreau of West Springfield. He also leaves two sisters; Diane Provost and her daughter Renee; and Eileen Gendreau. In addition to his three siblings, Richard left his aunt and uncle, Robert and Linda Haley, along with his two cousins, Brendan and Christian Haley, and their families.

The family would like to thank the Berkshire Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center, along with Hospice of Western & Central Massachusetts for their care and compassion on the last days of Richard’s life.

The family of Anthony E. Menard will receive friends on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home in Great Barrington. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 2 p.m., at the funeral home, conducted by Rev. Charles VanAusdall.

John H. Pirzl, 67, of Dalton

A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 10 a.m., at St. Ann Church with Monsignor John Bonzagni officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Pittsfield.
