Record warm temperatures in November

Great Barrington — Can you believe this warm weather in the first part of November?!?

Saturday, November 5th saw a high temp of 75 degrees and a low of 60 with summer-like dew point of 64.

The high temp missed the top mark by one degree set in 1994. The low temp set the record for highest minimum passing the mark of 54 set in 1988. It’s the second record high minimum posted this month.

November first was the other with a reading of 59. The average for this time of year is 54 high/33 low.

This warmth has made yard work a lot easier.

Of course, you know it won’t last forever. Just another day or two.
